My experience: bought the oven there on Oct 31st. The delivery was scheduled for Nov the 5th, between 10 am and 5 pm (a bit rediculous time frame but ah well, settled for it). Nov the 6th stayed home whole day waiting, nobody called or came. Tried calling the customer service- they played music for me and every time the connection was lost in the end. Went to the shop on Monday (Nov the 7th) to ask what went wrong. Talked to an employee (later I found out this person is the manager of that department) about my problem, his reply after talking on the phone for 10 mins was: It is ok. No apology, no information- just it is ok. When I asked for additional information about the delivery status he replied it will be delivered on Sat Nov the 12th. I asked for a phone number I can call in case something goes wrong again, said he can only give me the one I already had (the one nobody was answering). Sat Nov the 12th, 18. 30 h no calls, oven was not delivered, nobody picking up the phone when I dialed the number I was given. I went there again, same employee, same outrageous treatment, no apology, said the oven wasnt shipped out at all to be delivered. However, he says: I will make an exception and deliver it to you now with my own personal vehicle. I was shocked, still no apology and treating me like HE was doing ME a favour. Asked for my money back. Wanted to file a written complain, was told I have already spoken to the manager and there is nothing else I can do. I don't recommend Rue Neuve branch if you want to shop at Media Markt.

We hebben nog niet zo lang geleden een printer van HP gekocht. Na nog geen 2 weken gaf deze fout melding, printkop error, kon niet meer printen. Al 2 keer omgeruild, niets anders dan misserie, opnieuw hetzelfde probleem. Het geld teruggeven zodat ik een andere printer kan kopen willen ze niet. Die man die ik aan telefoon kreeg vond het precies normaal dat de producten die ze verkopen niet deugen. Klantvriendelijk? niets van. Ze zijn waardeloos. Media Market is nu een winkel waar ik nooit, maar dan ook nooit zal binnen gaan. Rating voor goed service=nul (0) of minder als dat kan.

Awful. I was sold a 4g wifi device for 160 euros combined with internet mobile contract with Mobistar that never worked. When I returned it they told me that it was not going to work. No alternative. They made me wait 45 to get any type of support. In the end they did not give me money back for something that didn't work. They gave me store credit. I guess to buy a coffee maker since there was no other wifi alternative....I call it THEFT. Manager store is xxxxx

Ok so how should I start, the staff at the after sales service is the worse staff ever. I bought an LG Sound Speaker from Media Markt Liege at the Mediacité because I was there for the weekend. When I came back to Brussels I found out that it wasn't working, so I contacted the Media Markt helpline to see if I could change it here in Brussels; they said that I could change it in any store in Belgium as long as I have my receipt with me. Therefore, I decided to go to the store at Rue Neuve, and guess what? They said I could not change it here because I need to return back to liege otherwise they need to send it to the LG company and that takes about 3 weeks to get repaired/replaced. I tried to tell the guy that I called the helpline and they assured me that I can change it anywhere in Belgium, but he was not convinced. Therefore, I had to go to Liege and change it, and I asked this guy at the after sales service if it was true regarding what the other guy at the store in Brussels told me, he said it wasn't and that he just replaced a product for a lady who bought it herself in Ostende and changed it in the store at Liege with no problem at all. I was pissed off because I felt I was betrayed. Please fire all those people at the aftersales service because they know nothing about the company policy and get people who are passionate about what they do, and not those who will worsend and tarnish your reputation as a compnay. You have lost a loyal customer who always had good memories of Media markt, and I am sure if this continue, others will also start complaining. Thank you.

Mediamarkt online is making people fool 6 week ago i order fridge and delery of media markt come to me and is full damage fridge they told me we give you 25 euro bon with this you can shop for 25 euro i reject his offer they took back fridge now 6 week i call every week for my money back but they told me your product is not back in our system if we got back product we will call you.i decided never buy again media markt online in my life.

I can't remember ever leaving a shop feeling so depressed and angry. Went in at lunchtime with the intention of buying a sonos play:5 system. I noticed that the special offer bundle of a play:3 and Bridge was on very prominent display, and was dominating the whole area. The small print on the literature suggested the offer should only run til the 30th June ( it is 16th July) so I assumed those nice guys at Media Markt had extended the offer and my luck was in. I attracted the attention of a very grumpy shop assistant who clearly did want to come and help me even though he was only going through the motions of tidying a nearby display. Three times I had to ask. I asked him about the offer. He said it was no longer available. I asked why it was it was on display and said it should be taken down as it expired over 2 weeks ago. He said I could take the leaflets if I want but the offer was finished. Ok I thought, bad store management, but I would buy what I came in for anyway. But before I could ask, mr grumpy was back tidying his display and staring blankly at a nearby monitor with no intention of assisting. Basically just walked off in the middle of a discussion no apology nothing. So Media markt there is one guaranteed sale you lost and many more as I will never set foot in this store or any media markt ever again. Never been treated so rudely in a shop in my life. avoid.

Ik heb een laptop gekocht bij mediamarkt in de nieuwstraat. Normaal gezien is er twee jaar garantie. Na twee maanden is het scherm defect. Zij beweren dat het scherm defect is door het krijgen van een schok. De laptop heeft echter helemaal geen schok gehad, tenzij misschien in de winkel zelf. Maar dat kun je helaas niet zien wanneer je een product koopt. Momenteel heb ik de reparatie bij ASUS zelf ingegeven. Conclusie: de service bij media markt is waardeloos, en indien men overweegt om die Plus Garantie die zij aanbieden te nemen is het dus oplestten.

Je laisse une revue pour le Media Markt de Meyrin en Suisse, très très mauvais vendeur Yvan Fernandez, un des personnes les plus méprisantes que j'ai rencontré dans ma vie, n'y allez pas. Je vous recommande de commander en ligne Amazon etc

just avoid mediamarkt belgium, i saw an acer desktop for €750, when i camed to mediamarkt in the netherlands, they selling it for €433. and they have in belgium really bad staff.

C'est facile de critiquer , j'invite tous les bobos, les fonctionnaires, les profiteurs en tout genres de venir travailler une seule journée dans le bruit, l'agressivité, les yeux fatigués par les néons et les bandes de racailles de la rue neuve qui vandalisent tous les produits exposés.

Bought a PC from Jemappes Media Markt, paid full price for a 'new' one, which sadly was the on-display floor model but which was the only one they had and I needed one that same day... When I got it back home, plugged it in, it didn't work. A techie friend came to help and when looking at it more closely, it appeared they'd sold me a REFURBISHED PC as it had a sticker on it saying it had been repaired and wasn't 100% new! I'd paid FULL PRICE for this, and still it didn't work. An absolute disgrace. I will never shop there again... and yes, Staff are normally fairly bad.

Go north to The Netherlands...the customer service is quite excellent compared with our experience in Belgium. I love Media Markt in The Netherlands but I now avoid it in Belgium.

And by the way their web site is one of the worst in its class too! Gives almost zero information about the products they sell. It's true, in its favour, that they do have a lot of stuff, but it's a pretty unpleasant experience shopping there - best to go if you know what you're looking for and just see if their price is better than rivals. Sometimes sell cheap CDs for instance.

I have been two days in a row visiting Media Markt rue neuve, trying to spend 800 euros in a tv. I have never seen so unfriendly staff in my life, I am talking about the TV department. First of all they are never available, then they do not know anything about manners and being customer friendly. If you don´t believe me ask the guy from SAMSUNG who was there trying to do some business...he was appalled about the bad manners of the staff. Yesterday evening I decided to spend my money somewhereelse and I went to Media Markt in Chee. de Louvain. What a difference!!! Very nice staff, friendly and helpful managed to sell me a tv for 1000 euros. Media Markt rue Neuve stinks and sucks...do not go there if you want a good service.

@ vladimirsova "the staff of mediamarkt is stealing electronics from the boxes before packing" This is impossible, staff is controlled more severe than the clientele + packing happens in the factory... They DO put the empty boxes of the showroom models along with the full boxes, and stick a 'opgepast, lege doos' or 'attentoin, boite vide", what means "attention, empty box", if you can't understand dutch nor french, you can't blame them for not using english stickers, since english is NOT an official language in Belgium

The staff are a bit creepy the way they letch at young women, made me glad I'm as old as I am! They don't seem to have any kinda of common courtesy or common sense when it comes to dealing with customers. With all the unemployment at the moment it makes you wonder why the store would employ the people they have. They are incredibly unhelpful and really give the impression they'd prefer to be sticking needles in their eyes rather than work there. Go elsewhere!

Incredible. i just bought a box for 200 euros. bought supposedly camera ixus 100, but there was no camera inside the box. great present for my parents. the staff of mediamarkt is stealing electronics from the boxes before packing. be careful. open every box you buy before leaving the shop and packing it as a present!!!

The staff have no idea what they are selling and are not interested in selling even now at Christmas time. I was in there and in the end gave up. Don't waste your time - they do not deserve your money.

Des xxxx encore sous garantie j'ai renvoyée mon téléphone 3 fois en réparation pour le même motif, ils n'ont toujours pas su réparer. Ma garantie vient de se terminée. Plus jamais j'achète chez eux. De plus l'attente au service après vente est interminable.

Je donne quatre étoiles pour leurs rayons cd et vinyles. Chanson française, pop, rock, alternative et métal de bien à très très bien bien achalandé. Il rate le cinq étoiles car, depuis peux, le rayon musique électronique est en perte de vitesse ! En classique et jazz c'est décevant, mais comme j'écoute moins, personnellement je ne leurs en tiens pas rigueur. Je trouve les vendeurs de ces rayons un peu taciturnes mais pas antipathiques pour autant et ils vous aident quand besoin. Le reste. écran, pc, téléphone, machine à laver etc etc. je n'y trouve pas souvent des conseils pertinents. alors je me fait mon opinion par moi même et, au cas, je prends la boite et je paye. Jetuilnousvousils.

Mon avis certainement pas favorable pour celui de la rue Neuve à Bruxelles, je me suis rendue au magasin pour acheter un appareil photos pour l'école pour ma belle fille, j'ai donné les renseignements au vendeur qui a été le cherché lui-même, quand nous sommes rentré ma belle fille l'a ouvert sans casser la boite et c 'est rendue compte que pas le bon appareil, nous sommes retourné le lendemain pour en prendre un autre et un peu plus cher et service après vente n'a pas prétendu le faire prétextant que parce que juste le collant de la boite n'était plus la donc il faudrait que j'en rachète un autre sans remboursement voilé et apparemment je ne suis pas la seule a avoir été ds ce meme cas

Moi j ai eu un ordi parkard beel sur unan tout les 2 mois panne rien voulu savoir d apres test achat apres la deuxieme fois un bon de emboursement rien voulu entendre 5 em fois j ai envoyer un recommader bien sale et mon telephonener j ai eu un bon racheter un autre avec la meme valeur de l achat 499 eur mais je crois que je n acheterai plus pas serieux du tout un nespresso 3 fois en panne sur 6 mois j ai telement fait de mon nez que nespresso eux meme mon donner un autre le meme non trop occuper partout et pui la reparation parti en repartion en holland pui autre chose il ne savent pas eux meem on rentre avec l article normalement reparer et la panne est toujours la meme moi ny va plus

Media Markt ? Très bon service. Vous vous plaignez que les vendeurs sont tous indisponibles ? Peut-être parce qu'ils sont déjà occupé à en conseiller d'autres. Apprenez à attendre votre tour ! Produits pas chers mais concernant la qualité de certains (particulièrement de la Marque Acer), ça laisserait presque à désirer. Heureusement que tous les produits ne sont pas comme ceux-là.

Ce que vous savez pas, c'est que les 14 premiers jours, MM Peut prendre les décisions d'échange mais au dela, c'est la garantie constructeur qui se mets en route et les conditions sont imposées pas les marques, même si Ils voudrons vous aider à un échange, ce ne seras plus possible surtout sur les appareil consommable, hygiènique et le appareils qui comporte une licence (pc,tablettes,gsm,gps,...) Renseignez-vous sur les conditions de votre garantie car cela vous aideras à savoir quelle droits vous avez ou pas... Bav,

Vous avez dit SAV ? La télé que j'ai achetée chez eux est retournée 4 fois de suite en "réparation" sans succès. 3 mois d'aller- retour au total. Ils ne veulent entendre parler ni de remboursement ni de remplacement!!! La quatrième fois, je la leur ai laissée. Je n'y mettrai plus les pieds!! Je ne suis pas fou, en effet.

Vendredi dernier, je me rends au Mediamarkt de la rue Neuve. Je demande au vendeur au guichet (un jeune arabe) quand a lieu la sortie de Grid 2 sur Ps3 (je pense que c'est fin mai), et là ce dernier me dit: "mais c'est un vieux jeu". Totale incompétence de ce dernier, a dû penser à Dirt2, n'y connait rien du tout! Jamais plus je n'achèterai un jeu en ce lieu. Suis donc parti et me suis renseigné au magasin Smartoys qui sortira le 31 mai.
