worst service I have ever received! very bad manners and extremely rude people.
Really bad customer service, they are really grumpy, let you wait for ages and don't explain anything properly. Really can't recommend! Never had any problems like that with Europcar, they're just so much better.
Same experience with a Hertz guy but in Zaventem. I booked q Citroen C1 through rental Car.com and went to collect. There mentionned a higher amount their bill and when i started asking explanations, the desk guy got very unpleasant, telling me that if i don't want to sign the contract he won't give me the car or neither reimburse me. He also asked me to sign up the car checking prior to handing over the keys. He even suggested me to read the " french version" (I speak flfuently FR, and NL and have Law degree)by the way ) I have learn't my lesson from HERTZ and as they say fool me one is;'s you, fool me twice it's me. NEVER AGAIN. I would rather pay more for a better service than having half ignorant raising their voices at you. Yeah, rats are everywhere!
I booked an 'opel corsa or similar', 4 doors, through an online car rental broker. All fine but when I went to the Hertz desk in midi the only car available was a 500. I said that it was not according to the contract as i needed an opel Corsa or similar with 4 doors.The guy was unpleasant and stubborn and i had to cancel the booking by calling the broker in the UK (he was totally uninterested in contractual terms and conditions as it was done through a broker). The first time I have a bad experience with Hertz and bad customer service. I wish to alert future potential customers, you better avoid the Midi office.Either they do not have a large stock of cars, and/or they use staff not at the level of their reputation.
