Ever since I moved to my new hometown, I end up going to the Troubadour whenever I want to eat some real Belgian food. They have a very extensive menu (never knew Belgian people eat rabbit) and the dishes I tried were all delicious. The interior is very cosy and relaxing, the service is quick and to the point.

Less choice on the menu could maybe upgrade the quality of the food !!
I will not return neither recommend De Troubadour.
We all are quite dissapointed about the dinner we took !
Kind regards, Missy.

I've been here often, and it's always been a pleasure. Great food, nice atmosphere, pleasant service and an extensive menu. Definitely worth a visit !

We dined at this restaurant recently and were quite disappointed.I ordered a filet of venison in a forest mushrooms dressing and was served few slices of meat covered in a bland fruity sauce. The only mushrooms in my plate were served as a side, and they were the kind you can buy at any grocery store, definitely far from any forest.
My partner's hare plate was equally bland and similarly covered in the same fruity sauce. The two dishes definitely did not pack a punch, even more disappointing in consideration of the higher prices charged for the "wild" menu.
We ordered a quarter of wine at the same price of two glasses and received less wine than if we had ordered two separated glasses (like our neighbours did, hence the comparison). The amount of wine was highly uneven in either glass, and the vessels were not even very clean; the same could be said about the cutlery. Service was barely decent but far from attentive.
