Amazing fresh food, quick service and a really nice atmosphere. Lovely little restaurant,

the food was good, however it is a very expensive pasta restaurant (therefore ingredients= pasta even when imported are cheap to buy, so why are these priced so high?)
therefore I think there is not a good quality-price connection, nor the decoration or service justify such prices;

170 euros for two pasta with pesto (32 euros), one roastbeef (22, and incredibly good), a salad (i have never seen that on the menu), did you take a bottle of (every average wine) at 100 euros ? that makes no sense at all !

no, this place is amazing, and absolutely not expensive for the quality of the food, just avoid the 50 euro salad, if it exists !

“Family owned rip-off”
A very small family owned restaurant with only a few dishes or wines which is not the problem.
The problem is when you get ripped off and end up paying 170 Euros for exactly 2 pastas with pesto as starters, 1 salad, 1 roastbeef a bottle of water and 1 bottle of average italian wine.
The food was of poor quality and drenched in oil, the decor isn't anything to write home about, the wine and service was average. Do not understand why people rave about this place?

Family-owned Italian restaurant that breathes authentic Tuscan cuisine. That means: simple but cosy interior (1 star), headstrong wine (1 star), delicious dishes made of fine ingredients (2 stars). Finally: lovely staff and good prices (2 stars). So: six stars for me!
