Bar Bik - Brussels International Kitchen

I went to this restaurant tonight with a group of people from work. In summary this is one of the worst meals i have had for years.

When we arrived we were told that we could only chose from 3 meals between us on the menu due to the large size of our group. They had not mentioned this when we sat down or when we booked the table.
I had swordfish and specifically asked for no rice, but extra salad.
the rest of the crew had starters which looked ok.
when the main courses arrived, which was 1 hour and 50 minutes after we had placed our order (!), i found that my meal was not edible. the fish was gross, the salad was missing and the rice was on the plate even though I had not ordered it.

One of my colleagues ordered pork, which was raw in the middle. another ordered coquille st. jacques which were also raw in the middle.

Half way through my swordfish I felt so sick that I left the restaurant. I am not a particularly picky eater, but the service and the food in this place are both awful. Please do not waste your time and money here, there are lots of excellent restaurants in Brussels.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a Belgian colleague and it really lived up to its promise. It's more like a cafe or eetcafe, very casual, but the food is restaurant standard.
It can be very busy so try to book in advance.
I recommend the entrecote/frites, but all the dishes look tempting. Leave room for dessert!
I have been back several times since.
