I have been around nearly half of the opticians in Brussels with no luck. La boîte à Lunettes was advised by a friend of mine and now we just all go there. Friendly, great advice and great choice, best place to choose your glasses. Price wise it's absolutely correct, you can find a great pair of glasses for every budget. You will be welcomed with a great smile and with a little joke, you will actually spend a great time choosing your glasses. One thing, just try it, you will love it!

First of all you should know, I am extremely complicated, choosy and opinionated i.e. a tough customer. And for the optician one of his toughest encounters ever. =)

He is very unique. Chic, open minded, elegant and yet funny and kind. But ... he did not let me choose the frames I wanted to try. He looked at me and picked them, knowing what would suit my very particular faceshape (Asian-European, flat nose, small oval face, high cheekbones ...), not easy! And then he suggested frames which I would have never ever even considered! Then the battle started.

Two hours later I finally got to try on the glasses I wanted and he was right, they didn't suit me at all. I was just far too used to my style and needed to get used to the new me. In the end I bought one of the two which he had suggested in the first place, 2,5 hours before. Of course I was scared, that I might have chosen the wrong ones, having been persuaded by a very good salesman. But when I returned after 5 days to collect them, I was extremely happy. I still am! They suit my face AND my personality so well. I very highly recommend this place. It is not big but the collection is far beyond what you will find in the big chains.

Great service & professional advice, good quality and variety of products, friendly and trendy atmosphere. I never thought I would feel this way about any optician but this one really stands out and serves it well ! I'm sure that even if I didn't need glasses or contact lenses, I would have a great time at La Boîte à Lunettes.

The owner is so friendly and amiable, that you feel immediately at ease... He looks at you and strikes the vital few pairs of glaces that would fit with you, and it does!! I will definetly come again!

I've been a client for over 4 years now. It is incredible how the optician easily analyses your style/face & puts the most appropriate glasses on first. Excellent after service as well. I can only recommend this place if you like fashionable (sun)glasses of a great quality and a no-nonsense & customer-friendly approach.

Wonderful! We've been going to Boite a Lunettes for the last 6 years (started when we lived in Brussels, but now we're moved out to BW, we still make the journey). Everytime you go, you come out feeling great, service is wonderful & honest, warm, and not 'over-sold', you get something original, which you might choose on your own, but has the wow factor. Whether its sun glasses or prescription!! Really a place to recommend, as the owner is quite frankly worth his weight in gold!!!
