What joy finally fine cuisine and delicious Brussels. A warm welcome and I can not believe the gorgeous surroundings, the magnificent paintings of Francis Schuiten showed us all his splandeur in Brussels. It was like 5 and all the kids we dive into the dishes to taste the dishes as photogenic that tasty ... the veal calf that my God is good, and I'll sell my soul with a little hesitation to have the recipe for fillet of turbot crusted parmesan .. I have already booked for this Saturday. Anne-Sophie
Discovery this weekend of the Great Lock. Warm, wonderful atmosphere thanks to the artistic designs. The card is an invitation to travel, the price range is open to all, but a constant sense of wonder with every bite (six people table, six different choices). Only one conclusion: an address to keep warm to cause astonishment of each of your guests.
We were there last Saturday and it was delicious! Staff nice and helpful, appetizer, entree, dessert and steep drop with respect part, I can not find a word. I'll be back with eyes closed when you want Congratulations
We went there Saturday night because we were at the hotel next door courtesy of the boss to employees place great artist drawings splendid ideas we spent a very convivial evening the next time we will test not only tea or cappuccino .. .. thank you again for your home in Charente Maritime richer maddy
We dine at "The big lock" Friday, February 5, 2010 following huge media recommendations only exhausting but praise about this place and its cuisine. Atmosphere "Jules Verne" which allows you to discover the old hydraulic mechanics of this old lock which regulated the flow of the purse. Beautiful pictures drawn especially for the occasion by a professional pencil, simply furnished but tasteful, comfortable chairs ... well, everything is there to spend a pleasant moment. Everything? Not really because when we receive the entry (shrimp croquettes from Zeebrugge), which is apparently a specialty of the chef, formerly of stars, we're surprised or even disappointed. Indeed they have in the kitchen a light hand on the pepper and shrimp poor have paid the price, thus masking the taste of the dish. To follow we took the back of cod stoemp leek and again a wrong note! ! TOO MUCH salt ... In conclusion I would say it is a place that has the stamp see the charm, the kitchen is neat but please do not force on the condiments. If there is a pepper and salt at the table is to use it as the devil. Stéphane
Too bad for those who have not had any luck, we were there Saturday, and we had a magical time in this magnificently decorated, an attentive sevice and delicious dishes ... good (especially the crusted turbot) A remake
