Burger Republic: dernier venu du quartier flagey | 30/06/2011
Inventé il y a plus d'un siècle, le hamburger n'a cessé de mutliplier les reconversions... Il y a mille et une façons d'apprécier cette icône du fast-food, du burger dégoulinant au burger roquette et petit doigt levé, il y en a pour tous les goûts. Surfant sur la vague des métamorphoses du sandwich le plus gras du monde, de nombreux restaurants pullulent dans Bruxelles. Le dernier en date: Burger Republic, place Flagey. En poussant la porte de l'établissement, on découvre une décoration urbaine, simple mais efficace. Le lieu est étroit et propose des banquettes en bois, des murs de briques et des tabourets argentés. La cuisine étant partiellement ouverte, un coup d'oeil permet de vérifier qu'elle est irréprochable. La petite carte fait office de choix multiples, il faut cocher, "avec ou sans frites", "sauce ou sans sauce", tout est à la carte, aux envies.... Visited this restaurant (again) with my business partners at lunch time .We had a great experience and in my mind even better than last time I visted a few months agho .The quality has improved particularly the buns and speed of service ,the meat was as always, top Irish quality which makes Burger Republic unique in Brussels.Well done!

Good quality burgers, but something should be done about the service.. Unfortunately our food came too late (more than an hour waiting time since) and the waiter kept forgetting our order for drinks..
I really liked the choice in the burgers - there is also the burger of the month, need concept.
Despite the time it took to being served, as a burger fan, when I gave the first bite I was delighted with the flavour of the burger, the best one I've had in Brussels so far. And the manager was very polite and did apologise for the time we had to wait for the burgers so I will probably start going there every week.
Great place to Have a Burger in Brussels , very happy just got out and would recommend this place to all the big Burgers Fan's in town just like me , I shall be back that's for sure !
I was there 3 months ago for dinner.
The food was okay (not excellent and a little bit overpriced). The place itself was nice. BUT the service was not the best that i have experienced in Brussels (maybe i wasn't served by the right people).
Secondly they did not accept bank card (regular one or Cheque repas), so i had to leave the restaurant go to the ATM machine, withdraw cash and pay.
For some of you that are reading this review this may seem a little out of place comment, but should be the service provider (read restaurant) giving you the easiest, quickest option to pay?
There are really nice places in Brussels if you want to eat a burger. This is not one of them.
If your looking to eat quality Burgers in Brussels do yourself some good and go have on @ Burger Republic !
As a NYoker I struggled finding the right place to have my weekend burgers , very happy I came across Burger Republic ! In a few words , very tasty meat , fun atmosphere , friendly staff ! Keep up the good work BR !
"simply the best !!" burgers available in Brussels .Great Angus beef and tasty buns ,service is casual and efficient.Very trendy possibly The Place to be or Where the elite meets to eat ...meat.

I got in but did not stay. The waitress was very rude. It is a real pity because the burgers seemed very good.
